Each year, CSI hosts the Global Services Summit, a one-day event which brings together more than 300 key senior trade officials, policy makers, and business leaders from around the world to discuss current international trade issues, with specific interest in services.
This year we are expanding the Summit into two days to focus on the role of services across all economic sectors, including digital trade.
The digital revolution is opening possibilities for international trade in services---by both developed and developing countries---that were unimaginable two decades ago when the Uruguay Round concluded.

While the multilateral system has been slow to adjust its rules and priorities to these new realities, several trade agreements currently being negotiated provide the opportunity to update the rules of trade in services.
